In June 2021, the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation organized Water Safety Days in Calvi and Saint-Florent. These days were an opportunity to offer children from the two Corsican towns a complete awareness program on drowning prevention and the preservation of the marine environment.
Supervised by Stéphanie Geyer Barneix and a team of professional athletes: Emmanuelle Bescheron, Stéphanie Braise Fernandez, Kevin Crovetto, Jérôme Fernandez, Alexandra Lux, Gauthier Philaire and with the support of @SauveteursenMer-SNSM and the Haute-French firefighters Corsica, the workshops were varied: First aid, Drowning prevention, Musical sticks, Tube buoy rescue, Aquatic course, Surveillance & intervention.
