The ICMA Principles, Guidelines and Handbooks

The International Capital Market Association (ICMA) operating for over 50 years, plays a pivotal role in developing international capital and securities markets. They’ve established rules and recommendations for market success.

ICMA brings together members from various sectors to address market practices and regulatory issues, focusing on primary, secondary, repo, and collateral markets. They also emphasize sustainable finance and FinTech.

With over 600 members across 66 jurisdictions, ICMA includes private and public sector issuers, banks, asset managers, and more. ICMA is a Swiss not-for-profit association headquartered in Zurich with offices in London, Paris, Brussels, and Hong Kong.

ICMA serves as Secretariat to the GBP, the SBP, the SBG and the SLBP, providing support while advising on governance and other issues.
