Introducing the second “Green Shift Festival”, organised by The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The event returns to Larvotto Promenade for three evenings focusing on ecological themes, in relation to art and culture. Free entry – open to all.
With a redesigned stage and fuller programme, the Green Shift Festival promises new eco perspectives and a festive atmosphere.
From June 5th to 7th, the festival will bring together committed and inspiring personalities from diverse backgrounds, including artists, intellectuals, activists, all working on new ways of thinking about ecology, putting the challenges we face today – and the future we must now build – into words and emotions.
The festival’s programme focuses on three main themes: (re)Connecting with the living world, Imaginings of the sea, and Ecology and Pop culture. These themes will talk about philosophy, maritime artistic inspirations and the links between ecology and pop culture.
After the success of the 2023 edition, Olivier Wenden, the Foundation’s Vice President and CEO, shared the organisation’s commitment to promoting events that combine science, art and culture: “By encouraging new ecological narratives, we can transform the way we view and interact with our world.”
The evening will commence at 6pm with a ‘Happy Hour’ to showcase local ecological initiatives, with catering provided by Sexy Tacos restaurant.
The evening events, will run from 7 to 8.30pm, and will feature discussions with the speakers, followed by meetings and signings.
Morning activities include yoga and meditation, as well as many other different activities. The programme shares full details.
One of the highlights will be Laure Prouvost’s choral parade on June 5th at 6pm, with songs performed by children from Monaco and Molenbeek, Belgium.
