Within the U.S., the primary contributor to this figure was Fannie Mae, the nation’s largest mortgage bank, which issued green bonds worth a substantial 10.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2021.
In contrast, while Prologis, a real estate investment trust company, made a noteworthy contribution, it amounted to a comparatively lower sum of 3.4 billion U.S. dollars.
