In 2022, the largest green bonds in the United States were issued by Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Duke Energy. Wells Fargo’s and Bank of America’s green bonds amounted to two billion U.S. dollars each. The third largest green bond was issued by Duke Energy and was worth 1.2 billion U.S. dollars.
