Volume production is expected to start sometime next year
The highly anticipated Cybertruck by Tesla is finally complete after a few years of delays. It is prepared to hit markets soon as Tesla tweeted a visual of the Cybertruck shown at the brand’s Giga Texas assembly line in Austin.
Tesla tweeted out a photo of a Cybertruck that rolled off the company’s Giga Texas assembly line in Austin. “First Cybertruck built at Giga Texas!” the automaker shared in the post.
Elon Musk spoke about the production process in April, stating that “[It] takes time to get the manufacturing line going, and this is really a very radical product. It’s not made in the way that other cars are made.”
Musk predicted that the car’s volume manufacturing would start during the summer. Currently, Tesla did note that the Cybertruck will start with the option of a single motor iteration priced at $39,900 and has a three motor model coming for $70,000.
