Details
TechGirls is a U.S.-based summer exchange program designed to empower young women (ages 15-17) from the United States and select countries worldwide. It provides opportunities for participants to pursue higher education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through hands-on training and mentorship.
The program aims to increase the number of women in tech fields, particularly from underrepresented regions, and equip them with the skills they need to succeed in the tech industry.
In 2025, the program will support 111 young women from 37 participating countries/territories and 13 U.S. peers. The experience includes a dynamic three-week U.S.-based exchange program with a seven-month mentoring program (pre-and post-exchange).

- July 13-25, 2025: Tech Camp at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA
- July 26-30, 2025: Community Immersion and Job Shadow Experience in host cities
- July 31-August 2, 2025: Activities and meetings in Washington, D.C.
- August 3, 2025: Departure from Washington, D.C.
