Sustainable luxury buildings

RO54 by Arshia Architects is located in LA’s Bel Air neighborhood

The Bel Air neighborhood in Los Angeles is known to be the location of many prestigious and luxury houses. One structure that catches the attention of passersby with its highly futuristic silhouette is RO54. Designed by Arshia Architects, this home figures as an architectural marvel that seamlessly blends luxury, sustainability, and future-forward design.

R054 seamlessly fits into the hill it sits on. Arshia Architects sought to maximize the visual appeal while also providing a strong sense of utility and openness for the living spaces. The designers also harnessed a monochromatic color palette and a limited variety of materials in order to preserve a sense of minimalism.

Some of the sustainability features of RO54 include a courtyard that acts as a rainwater runoff filtration system, low-flow plumbing systems, drought-tolerant plants, photovoltaic integration, and more.
