(EN) Launched in 2021, DIMFE (Donors’ Initiative For Mediterranean Freshwater Ecosystems) aims to protect and restore all freshwater ecosystems in the Mediterranean
💧 In addition to harbouring rich biodiversity, these ecosystems help regulate the climate. However, since 1970, almost half of these ecosystems have disappeared in the Mediterranean basin. Urgent action is needed to protect them!

💧 En plus d’abriter une biodiversité importante, ces écosystèmes permettent de réguler le climat. Mais depuis 1970, près de la moitié de ces écosystèmes ont disparu dans le bassin méditerranéen, il est urgent d’agir pour les préserver !
