Prince Albert of Monaco decorated with Order of Agricultural Merit by Emmanuel Macron in Paris

H.S.H. Prince Albert II was received by President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, and decorated with the insignia of the Commander of the Order of Agricultural Merit on Tuesday, May 14.

This award ceremony took place in the presence of H.S.H. Princess Charlène, H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, Hereditary Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella and several Monégasque and French personalities.

The Order of Agricultural Merit was established in July 1883 by the Minister of Agriculture, Jules Méline, “to reward services rendered to agriculture.” Recipients of the Order of Agricultural Merit wear a green ribbon with red borders, attached to a badge that represents a white enamel star.
