HSH Prince Albert II in New York for the 78th UN General Assembly
H.S.H. Prince Albert II arrived this Monday, September 18 in New York to attend the 78th General Assembly of the UN. Prince Albert will speak on Wednesday, September 20 in the afternoon at the United Nations as part of the general debate, an annual meeting of heads of state and government at the headquarters of the Organization to discuss issues of world order. This year the theme is: “Rebuilding Trust and Reviving Global Solidarity”.
The Sovereign Prince will also participate in discussions on subjects such as climate change, the protection of biodiversity and artificial intelligence, and will meet political figures and economic players during bilateral meetings.
The Monegasque delegation, led by H.S.H. the Prince, will work closely with other world leaders to promote international cooperation and work together to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
On the occasion of this trip, the Sovereign is notably accompanied by Ms. Isabelle Berro-Amadei, Government Advisor-Minister of External Relations and Cooperation, H.E. Ms. Isabelle Picco, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco to the United Nations, Miss Julie Donati, Administrator in His Office, and Ms. Christine Sprile, Head of His private secretariat.

(FR) S.A.S. le Prince Albert II à New York pour la 78e Assemblée Générale de l’ONU
S.A.S. le Prince Albert II est arrivé ce lundi 18 septembre à New York afin d’assister à la 78e Assemblée Générale de l’ONU. Le Prince Albert s’exprimera mercredi 20 septembre dans l’après-midi à la tribune des Nations Unies dans le cadre du débat général, réunion annuelle des chefs d’État et de gouvernement au siège de l’Organisation pour débattre de questions d’ordre mondial. Cette année la thématique est : « Reconstruire la Confiance et Raviver la Solidarité Mondiale ».
Le Prince Souverain participera également aux discussions sur des sujets tels que le changement climatique, la protection de la biodiversité ou encore l’intelligence artificielle, et rencontrera des personnalités politiques et des acteurs économiques lors de réunions bilatérales.
La délégation monégasque, conduite par S.A.S. le Prince, travaillera en étroite collaboration avec d’autres leaders mondiaux pour promouvoir la coopération internationale et œuvrer ensemble à la réalisation des objectifs de développement durable des Nations Unies.
A l’occasion de ce déplacement, le Souverain est notamment accompagné par Mme Isabelle Berro-Amadei, Conseiller de Gouvernement-Ministre des Relations Extérieures et de la Coopération, S.E. Mme Isabelle Picco, Ambassadrice de la Principauté de Monaco auprès des Nations Unies, Mlle Julie Donati, Administrateur à Son Cabinet, et Mme Christine Sprile, Chef de Son secrétariat particulier.
