Prince Albert first European test driver of Elon Musk’s Tesla Cybertruck

Monaco’s Prince Albert II became the first person in Europe to officially test drive the new Tesla Cybertruck when he drove through the Principality in the innovative new all-electric vehicle.

H.S.H. Prince Albert II had the pleasure of driving the Tesla Cybertruck through the streets of Monaco on June 4th.

Following an official presentation at Place du Casino, Prince Albert II took the wheel of the Cybertruck, driving it to the Grimaldi Forum for the opening of Top Marques Monaco.

The Cybertruck, which is more practical than a pickup and more powerful than a sports car, features ‘steer by wire’ steering and steered front and rear wheels, giving it a turning circle smaller than most sedans. With a towing capacity of almost 5 tonnes—equivalent to the weight of an African elephant—the high-performance Cyberbeast version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

Prince Albert II navigated the iconic vehicle from Place du Casino to Port Hercule, accompanied by Mathieu Lenglin, Director of Tesla France.

Fifteen minutes later, the Cybertruck arrived at the Grimaldi Forum, where the Sovereign Prince drove onto the Esplanade and parked the vehicle at the entrance to the show.

The Cybertruck will be on display at Top Marques from Wednesday, June 5th to Thursday, June 6th, before continuing its European tour.
