Monaco Yacht Show makes waves: Unveils Sustainability Hub set to transform luxury yachting

The Monaco Yacht Show in 2022 launches a brand-new exhibition space known as the ‘Sustainability Hub.’ This dedicated area features a welcoming platform for companies that leverage technology to reduce the environmental impact of superyachts.

Located within the Darse Sud, a tent devoted to maritime technology and equipment, the 200m² display promises to be a game-changer for eco-conscious yacht enthusiasts.

The Sustainability Hub is more than just a showcase; it’s an incubator for businesses offering both groundbreaking and time-tested environmentally friendly solutions. In addition to spotlighting established companies, it will shine a spotlight on startups that are pioneering eco-friendly solutions designed to seamlessly integrate with the yachting industry.

A partnership between the Water Revolution Foundation and the Monaco Yacht Show will choose the businesses that qualify for the Sustainability Hub.

“The creation of the Sustainability Hub is a crucial achievement. The Monaco Yacht Show has once again consolidated its leading position in the field, whilst highlighting the Water Revolution Foundation’s expertise in terms of sustainability. Thus, the show’s new exhibition area is designed to showcase forms of technology that will bring concrete improvements to the world of yachting. We are making every effort to find, verify, promote and reward sustainable solutions, whilst encouraging their use and bringing about much needed change.”

Robert Van Tol, Executive Director of the Water Revolution Foundation

The Sustainability Hub was developed as part of the Monaco Yacht Show’s eco-friendly approach, which began in 2005. The show is a vehicle for educating the global yachting communities about environmental concerns.
