Monaco mourns the passing of local icon Kate Powers

(EN) Known for having brought a piece of America to the Principality, first with the Texan, which she opened in the Condamine district with her brother Mike at the end of the 80s, Kate Powers really made a name for herself with the Stars’n’Bars Monaco she co-founded with Didier Rubiolo in 1993. She was the soul of this popular establishment located along the Quai Antoine-1er.

Naturalized Monegasque in 2009, she has marked generations with her love of others and her commitment to the preservation of the planet.

(FR) Connue pour avoir apporté un bout d’Amérique en Principauté, avec d’abord le Texan, qu’elle a ouvert dans le quartier de la Condamine avec son frère Mike à la fin des années 80, Kate Powers s’est réellement fait connaitre avec le Stars’n’Bars Monaco qu’elle a cofondé avec Didier Rubiolo en 1993. Elle était l’âme de cet établissement populaire situé le long du quai Antoine-1er.
