On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, the second edition of the Ocean Space Forum will be held in the prestigious setting of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.
Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2023, Prométhée Earth Intelligence, CNES, and the Monaco Office of Space Affairs are set to host the second Ocean Space Forum. This event will once again gather leading figures from research, politics, and economics to spotlight how New Space technologies can aid in the conservation and sustainable management of our oceans.
The Forum’s program includes engaging roundtables that will explore crucial topics through the lens of space technology. Discussions will cover marine ecosystem conservation, the blue economy’s growth, the fight against climate change and its oceanic impacts, and the preservation of marine resources.
The 2024 Ocean Space Forum will be a pivotal event leading up to the third United Nations Ocean Conference, co-hosted by France and Costa Rica in Nice from June 9 to 14, 2025. This conference aims to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 14, which focuses on conserving and sustainably using the oceans, seas, and marine resources.
Join the Ocean Space Forum on July 2nd in Monaco to contribute to shaping a future where New Space offers tangible solutions for preserving our ocean and its treasures for future generations.
