The newest Lululemon yoga accessories are made from Mylo, a sustainable, vegan and animal-free leather alternative from Bolt Threads that’s made from mycelium. The collection introduces a yoga mat and a pair of bags that are made entirely from this sustainable material.
These innovative new accessories from Lululemon are set to be released in 2022. With these new styles, customers will benefit from being able to buy more sustainable alternatives to favorite yoga mats and bags. Fans of Lululemon’s Take Form Mat can still benefit from a design that helps to guide the placement of the hands and feet, but now with a material that comes from a network of fungal threads.
Notably, Lululemon is a founding member of the Mylo consortium of global companies, which will see more brands using this material in the future.
