Air Liquide Raises €500 Million Through New Green Bond to Support Energy Transition Projects
French industrial gas supplier, Air Liquide has successfully issued a €500 million green bond, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable growth. The proceeds will be used to finance or refinance key energy transition initiatives, including projects focused on low-carbon hydrogen, carbon capture, and low-carbon air gases.

The bond, launched under Air Liquide’s Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme, was highly oversubscribed, reflecting strong investor interest. It carries a 10-year maturity with a yield of 3.466%, offering favorable financial terms for the Group’s long-term sustainability goals. Rated “A” by Standard & Poor’s and Scope Ratings and “A2” by Moody’s, this issuance follows Air Liquide’s debut green bond in 2021, highlighting the company’s role as a consistent ESG issuer.
